Preparing a court bundle is one of those jobs that eats a day and cannot be rushed. Print the exhibits, order them, letter the sections, write the index, then discover a late witness statement and renumber everything by hand. As of 1 August 2026, Wizard Application does that work for you.
What Court Bundles does
Court Bundles turns the documents already sitting in your Media Library into a single paginated PDF that is ready for the hearing. There is no re-uploading and no separate bundling tool to buy: the bundle lives beside the matter, the time you spend on it and the client it belongs to.
- Sections that number themselves. Group documents into sections such as Pleadings, Witness Statements and Correspondence. Labels are assigned from the section order in letters, numbers or Roman numerals, and they regenerate the moment you move something.
- Sub-sections one level deep. Section A becomes A1 and A2, each holding its own documents, so a large evidence section stays readable.
- Drag and drop assembly. Reorder sections, reorder documents and drag an exhibit from one section to another. The bundle relabels itself as you work.
- Sixty case types. From family and civil litigation to employment, criminal, probate and judicial review, with the case reference, court name and hearing date recorded on the bundle itself.
One merged PDF ready to file
When the structure is right, generate the bundle. Compilation runs in the background and you get a notification when it is ready, along with the page count and file size.
- Everything merges. PDFs go in as they are. Word documents, spreadsheets and images are converted during compilation, so the finished bundle is one continuous file rather than a folder of attachments.
- Front and back pages. Choose a cover document and toggle it in or out of the export.
- An index built from the bundle. The index page is rebuilt from the current sections and documents every time you generate, listing the page number where each item starts. It is a printed index rather than a hyperlinked one, so it works just as well in a paper bundle.
- Page numbers on every sheet. Six stamp positions, three formats including 1 of 250, and an optional white grey or yellow box behind the number so it stays readable over dark or busy evidence.
Locked once it is filed
A bundle stays editable while it is a draft. Finalise it and the contents lock, so the version you filed cannot drift. Archive it after the hearing, revert it to draft if something changes, and duplicate a bundle when the next matter needs the same structure. Permissions work per bundle, so you decide which colleagues can open each one.
Preparation time can be recorded against the bundle and billed through Invoicing, the same way you already bill time by matter.
