Canva is the best known online design platform, with millions of templates, a large stock library and tools for almost every kind of visual, from social posts and videos to presentations, websites and PDFs. Wizard Application Studio Editors is narrower on purpose: a pitch deck editor, an image editor and a PDF editor that sit inside the workspace where your customers, projects, recruitment and invoices already live, and they are included on every plan.
If you are deciding between them, this guide sets out how they compare, where each one is strong, and which kind of business each suits best.

Where Canva is strong
- A huge template and stock library. Whatever you are making, there is probably a Canva template for it, plus photos, graphics, video and audio to fill it.
- More than decks and images. Canva covers video, social content, print, whiteboards, documents and websites in one design tool.
- Designing together. Teams can work on the same design at the same time and leave comments.
- A fuller PDF editor. Canva can edit the existing text and images inside a PDF, which the Studio PDF editor does not do.
- Apps everywhere. Canva runs in the browser and on desktop and mobile apps.
Where Wizard Application is different
- Decks built from your own numbers. Data blocks pull revenue, invoices, customers, open jobs, placements, pipeline by stage, tickets and more straight from your workspace, refresh when you present and can be frozen for a board pack.
- First drafts from your workspace. Wizard AI can draft an investor update, a monthly review, a client review or a recruitment update around your real figures, and only uses numbers that exist in your workspace. AI drafts use AI credits.
- One place for the files you make. Images save to your media library and PDFs can be filed straight to the candidate, job or company they belong to.
- Included, not another subscription. Studio Editors is part of every plan, including the free Starter plan, alongside your CRM, projects, HR, help desk and invoicing.
- A logo maker in the image editor. Describe your business, pick from eight styles such as minimal, vintage or geometric, and refine the result with the editor's own tools.
Which should you choose
Canva may suit you better if you design a lot of varied content, rely on templates and stock media, make video, or need several people editing the same design at once.
Wizard Application may suit you better if your decks are mostly monthly reviews, investor updates, client reviews and proposals built on your own numbers, and you would rather not keep the figures, the files and the people in separate tools.
When you are ready to try it with your own figures, create your free workspace, see everything on the Studio Editors page or compare plans.
