ClickUp and Wizard Application both promise to bring your work into one place, but they start from different ends. ClickUp is a highly flexible work management tool that you shape into whatever you need. Wizard Application is a business platform where projects, time, clients, invoices and people already work together.
If you are choosing between them, this guide sets out how they compare, where each one is strong, and which kind of business each suits best.

Where ClickUp is strong
ClickUp is very flexible. Almost everything can be customised, from statuses and fields to views and automations, and it covers a wide range of work with tasks, docs, whiteboards, dashboards and chat. For teams whose work is mostly internal projects, and who enjoy designing their own setup, that freedom is a real strength. Its time tracking is also solid, with billable time and a timesheet approval workflow.
Where Wizard Application is different
- Less to build. ClickUp gives you parts to assemble. In Wizard Application the sales CRM, projects, time, invoicing and HR are already connected, so you spend your time on the work rather than on the setup.
- Time that becomes invoices. Hours logged against tasks roll into timesheets and then into invoices inside the same platform, with no export to an accounting add-on to raise the bill.
- A real CRM. Leads, pipelines and quotes live in a dedicated sales CRM, and every project links back to its client.
- People as well as projects. HR and a recruitment ATS sit alongside your projects, so hiring, onboarding and delivery share the same records.
- We move you across. Our migration team maps your Spaces, Folders and Lists into projects and tasks, and you check everything on a staging link before you switch.
Which should you choose
ClickUp may suit you better if your work is mostly internal, you want the freedom to design every part of your workspace, and you are happy to connect separate tools for billing, CRM and HR.
Wizard Application may suit you better if you do client work that has to be tracked, timed and billed, and you would rather run sales, delivery, invoicing and people from one platform than maintain the connections between several.
Moving from ClickUp
If you decide to switch, our guide to switching from ClickUp to Wizard Application covers how to export your tasks, how Spaces, Folders and Lists map to projects, and what our migration team handles for you.
