Every "free plan" on the market seems to come with an asterisk. Free for 14 days. Free until you invite a second person. Free until you need to actually invoice a client. We built Starter the other way round: it is free because we want small businesses to run on real software from day one, not a stripped-down demo with a countdown clock attached.
So we are making it official. The Starter plan is £0 a month, forever, with no credit card required to sign up and no trial period that quietly expires into a bill.
What free actually means here
The first user is included at no cost, permanently. If your business is just you for now, that is the whole plan: sign up, connect your workspace, and start working. If you grow the team, extra seats are billed at £9.99 per user per month, the same per-seat price every paid plan charges. Need a higher ceiling on any of the limits below, and that is what the paid plans are for. Until then, nobody is asking for a card number.
What is actually included
Starter is not a locked-down teaser of the product. It runs real, working versions of the tools that matter most to a business just getting off the ground:
- The Recruitment ATS, with room for open job postings and up to 25 candidates in the pipeline
- The Sales CRM, tracking up to 50 contacts through your pipeline
- Invoicing, enough to raise up to 5 invoices a month and get paid
- The full help desk and ticketing system for customer support
- 1 court bundle, 5 stored documents, and 10 calendar bookings a month
- 15 password vault entries for shared team credentials
- A monthly allowance of Wizard AI requests, so you can try AI-assisted work without committing to a paid tier
- 1 GB of storage
What is not on Starter: Document Builder, Form Builder, Project Management, and API access. Those arrive on the paid plans, alongside higher limits on everything Starter already includes. We would rather tell you that upfront than have you discover a wall halfway through onboarding.
Why give this much away for free
Most small businesses do not fail from a lack of ambition, they fail from too much time lost stitching spreadsheets, inboxes, and a dozen disconnected apps together before the business is even big enough to justify a real software budget. Starter exists so that stage never has to happen. You get one connected platform for recruitment, sales, invoicing, and support from the day you sign up, and you only start paying when your team actually grows past what the free tier covers.
That is the trade we are comfortable making: give away a genuinely useful product for free, and earn the upgrade later by being worth growing into.
Getting started
There is nothing to redeem and nothing to cancel before a trial ends, because there is no trial. Sign up for the Starter plan and you are on it for as long as you want to be.
