Core Features

Everything You Need to Manage Credentials

From strong encryption to role-based access and organised folders, your team's credentials stay safe and accessible, exactly where you need them.

Encrypted at Rest

Every entry is encrypted with a key derived from your master password. Your master password is never stored, so the database alone reveals nothing.

  • AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption
  • PBKDF2-SHA256 with 600,000 iterations
  • Per-entry unique IVs
  • Master password never stored

Organised Folders

Group credentials into nested folders by team, project or environment. Find what you need in seconds.

  • Nested folder hierarchy
  • Custom colours and icons
  • Favourites & quick access
  • Full-text search
Security Architecture

Security That Earns Trust

Your secrets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key derived from your master password, which we never store. A copy of the database on its own is unreadable.

Decrypted on Your Device in the Browser Extension

The browser extension downloads your vault encrypted and unlocks it on your device. In the web app, your vault unlocks for your session and locks itself after 15 minutes idle.

Strong Key Derivation

PBKDF2-SHA256 with 600,000 iterations makes brute-force attacks computationally infeasible.

No Master Password Recovery

We never store your master password, so we can't recover it. If you forget it, the vault has to be reset.

Unlock Master password → derived key, held only while the vault is unlocked
Encrypted Each entry is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and a unique IV
Storage at Rest The database stores ciphertext only. No master passwords and no stored keys.
Role-Based Access

Right Access for Every Role

Grant exactly the access each teammate needs. Editors can update credentials, viewers see them read-only, and admins manage access.

  • Owner & Admin Full control: view, edit, delete, share and re-share.
  • Editor View and edit credentials, no delete or reshare permissions.
  • Viewer Read-only access for users who only need to retrieve a credential.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Your entries are stored encrypted and your master password is never stored, so the database on its own is unreadable. The browser extension decrypts only on your device. The web app unlocks your vault on our servers for your session, then locks it again after 15 minutes idle. We're moving the web app to decrypt on your device too.

We use AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption with unique IVs per entry. Encryption keys are derived from your master password using PBKDF2-SHA256 with 600,000 iterations, the OWASP-recommended baseline.

You choose who can access an entry and whether they can view, edit, delete or share it, using the Owner, Admin, Editor and Viewer roles.

Yes. The password vault is on every plan, including the free Starter plan, with no separate vault licence. Starter includes 15 entries, Standard 50, and Professional and Enterprise are unlimited.
