Confluence is Atlassian’s team wiki: a place to write, organise and share pages of knowledge across a company. Wizard Application is not a wiki. It is a business platform whose documents, templates, e-signatures and knowledge base sit alongside projects, a sales CRM, HR and a help desk.
They overlap less than most comparisons, so this guide is honest about where each fits, and when a team might use both.

Where Confluence is strong
Confluence is one of the most established wikis available. Its pages, spaces and templates make it easy to document processes, decisions and specifications, many people can edit together, and it links closely with Jira. For organisations with a lot of written knowledge to manage, it does that job very well.
Where Wizard Application is different
- Documents that get work done. Document management covers proposals, contracts and policies, built from templates in PDF or Word and sent for e-signature, with every step tracked.
- A knowledge base that answers questions. The help desk knowledge base serves customers and staff, next to the tickets it helps resolve.
- Everything else in the same place. Projects, a sales CRM, HR, invoicing and team chat live alongside your documents, so the work and the paperwork share one record.
- Honest about the gap. If you rely on a large company wiki, you may want to keep one alongside Wizard Application. We would rather say so than oversell.
Which should you choose
Confluence may suit you better if written documentation is the centre of how your team works, and you need a full wiki with pages, spaces and collaborative editing.
Wizard Application may suit you better if the documents you rely on are proposals, contracts, policies and help articles, and you want them connected to projects, clients, people and billing.
Moving from Confluence
If you decide to switch, our migration service starts with a free assessment. We map your data, give you a private staging link to check everything, and you keep working in Confluence until you are ready, so there is no downtime.
When you are ready to compare the two properly, see our plans or request a free migration assessment.
