Calendly is one of the best known scheduling tools. People pick a time from your booking page, and paid plans add reminders, payments, team scheduling, routing forms and a long list of integrations. Wizard Application Calendar Bookings is part of a wider workspace: booking pages that drop straight into the calendar where your customers, leads, candidates, projects and invoices already live, included on every plan.
If you are deciding between them, this guide sets out how they compare, where each one is strong, and which kind of business each suits best.

Where Calendly is strong
- Scheduling for sales teams. Round robin, shared team event types and routing forms send each lead to the right person on the Teams plan.
- Packages and payment links. Paid plans can sell prepaid meeting packages and send payment links as well as taking payment at booking.
- Follow-ups as well as reminders. Automations send follow-up emails after a meeting and chase people who have not booked yet.
- A large set of integrations. HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Marketo and more, plus a browser extension and mobile app.
Where Wizard Application is different
- Bookings that are part of your business. Leads and customers who book are linked to their record in Sales, candidates can book a first chat during recruitment, and bookings sit in the same calendar as your interviews, meetings and site visits.
- Orders and invoices from the booking. Raise an order or invoice straight from an appointment. The service, date, time and address go on the line, the price and tax come from the service, and every order and invoice links back to its booking.
- Paid bookings that land in your accounts. When a page takes payment, the invoice is made and paid as the person books, so the money sits with that customer's other invoices instead of in a separate tool.
- Visits to the customer. For trades and call-out work, the booking form asks for the address, no video call is made and each booking goes in your calendar as a site visit.
- Forms that route to the right page. A form can send people on to the booking page their answers pick, with their details filled in and the booking linked to the lead the form created.
- Invites by name. Send a customer, lead or candidate a personal link with their details filled in, and see which invites have been booked and which are still waiting.
- Included, not another subscription. Calendar Bookings is part of every plan, including the free Starter plan, alongside your CRM, projects, HR, help desk and invoicing.
Which should you choose
Calendly may suit you better if you run a sales team that routes leads by CRM ownership, sell meeting packages, or depend on its CRM and marketing integrations.
Wizard Application may suit you better if you want bookings that land next to the rest of your work, linked to the customer, lead or candidate, and turned into an order or invoice in a couple of clicks.
When you are ready to try it, create your free workspace, see everything on the Calendar Bookings page or compare plans.
